Founded in 1998 by Jonathan Goldstein, a former commodities trader with over 20 years of experience in precious metals markets, Golden Standard began as a small advisory firm in New York City. In the wake of the Asian financial crisis, Jonathan recognized the growing importance of gold as a hedge against economic uncertainty and inflation.
What started as a boutique consultancy with just three analysts has grown into a comprehensive gold investment firm with offices in New York, London, Zurich, and Singapore. Our team of 45+ professionals includes experienced market analysts, investment advisors, procurement specialists, and research economists, all dedicated to helping our clients navigate the complex world of gold investments.
Throughout economic booms and downturns, including the 2008 financial crisis and the COVID-19 pandemic, Golden Standard has maintained its reputation for integrity, accuracy, and client-focused service.
